CHROME - Language Settings

To change the language in Google Chrome on a computer, you can do the following:

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Select the More button (three dots) in the top right corner
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Languages
  5. Under Preferred languages, select Add languages
  6. Choose the languages you want to add
  7. Select Add
  8. To reorder languages, select More next to the language you want to move
  9. To remove a language, select More next to the language you want to remove
  10. Relaunch Chrome to apply the changes

To change the language in Google Chrome on an Android device, you can do the following:

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Tap More (three dots) to the right of the address bar
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Tap Languages
  5. Under Chrome's language, tap the current language
  6. Select the language you want from the language list
  7. Tap Restart in the toolbar after the language downloads

EDGE - Language Settings

To change the language in Microsoft Edge, you can do the following:

  1. Click the three dots in the top right corner of the browser
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Languages
  4. Select Add languages
  5. Search for the language you want to use
  6. Select the language you want to use
  7. Select ... next to the language you want to use
  8. Select Display Microsoft Edge in this language
  9. Select Restart

You can also remove languages you no longer use by selecting ... next to the language and choosing Remove. Microsoft Edge uses the same language as your system by default. You can also use Microsoft Translator in Microsoft Edge.

INTERNET EXPLORER - Language Settings

To change the language in Internet Explorer, open the browser, click 'Tools' then 'Internet Options', navigate to the 'General' tab, and click the 'Languages' button where you can add and prioritize your preferred language from the list; essentially, the language settings are managed within the 'Internet Options' menu. Key steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click 'Tools'.
  3. >Select 'Internet Options'.
  4. On the 'General' tab, click 'Languages'.
  5. Click 'Add' to select your desired language.
  6. Rearrange the language list to set your preferred order.

Important points to remember:
Changing the language in Internet Explorer only affects the browser display, not your entire operating system language.
If you want to change your system language, you need to access your Windows settings directly.

FIREFOX - Language Settings

To change the language in Firefox, you can open the Preferences or Settings menu and select a language from the Language section. Steps:

  1. Open the Menu bar and select Preferences or Settings
  2. In the General panel, click Language
  3. Click the drop-down menu for your selected language
  4. If your preferred language is already selected, you can skip to step 5
  5. If your preferred language is not selected, click Search for more languages
  6. Select the language you want to add
  7. Click Add
  8. Use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change the order of your languages
  9. Click OK
  10. Restart the browser for the changes to take effect

You can also use the Language Switcher add-on to change your browser's language.
